What data we collect
Information you give us
When you contact us through the website or by email, we receive your name, company name, email address and anything you choose to include in your message. Our website contact form opens a message in your own email application — it does not store your details on our website.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider may log limited technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, in order to keep the site secure and running. We do not use this to identify you personally.
How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- respond to your enquiry and provide the information or services you request — lawful basis: taking steps at your request to enter into a contract, and our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries;
- operate, secure and improve our website — lawful basis: our legitimate interests in running a safe, effective website;
- comply with legal obligations where required — lawful basis: legal obligation.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Cookies and analytics
Our website does not set its own (first-party) cookies.
We load fonts from Google Fonts so the site displays correctly. To do this, your browser connects to Google's servers, which means Google may process your IP address. You can control or block cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings.
[If you enable website analytics such as Google Analytics, replace this line with a description of the analytics you use, the cookies it sets, and how visitors can decline non-essential cookies via your cookie-consent banner.]
Who we share your data with
We share personal data only where necessary, with:
- our website hosting provider, which stores and serves the site;
- our email provider, which we use to receive and respond to your messages;
- Google, for the Google Fonts used on the site;
- professional advisers or authorities, where we are legally required to do so.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and for a reasonable period afterwards as part of our legitimate business records, after which it is deleted. Technical logs are retained only for a short period for security purposes.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to our processing of your data;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@northcore-systems.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information at all times.

Our website may link to external sites (for example LinkedIn). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.
