EC&I Design
Electrical, control and instrumentation design that's right first time — schematics, panel design and system architecture engineered to standard and built for the workshop and the field.
The backbone of every control system
EC&I design is where a control philosophy becomes something a panel builder can wire and a commissioning engineer can prove. We produce complete, construction-ready design packages: schematics, general arrangements, panel layouts, cable and termination schedules, I/O lists and instrument loop diagrams — the documentation that carries design intent all the way to site.
Whether it's a new build, a retrofit or a like-for-like replacement, our designs stay traceable back to the control philosophy and forward to the wiring in the field, so nothing gets lost between concept and commissioning.
A complete design package
- Schematics & wiring diagramsIEC-standard control and power schematics with full cross-referencing.
- Panel GA & 3D layoutsGeneral arrangement and panel layouts, ready for the build.
- Cable & termination schedulesCable schedules, termination diagrams and interconnection detail.
- I/O lists & loop diagramsStructured I/O and instrument loop documentation.
- BOM & procurement dataAutomatic bills of material and consistent device lists.
- Standards & hazardous areaDesign to IEC 60204 / 60079 area classification where required.
EPLAN-based design — efficiency in, rework out
We design in EPlan ProPanel, treating every project as a single, connected data model rather than a stack of disconnected drawings. That's a deliberate choice: it's how we cut errors, speed up revisions, and stop rework appearing on the workshop floor and out on site.
The result is a design package that's cleaner to build, quicker to commission and cheaper to own — with far less of the costly rework that comes with basic CAD schematics.
