CoreControl is a modular, expandable automation system for training, prototyping and test rigs. Start with the CoreControl base panel, then add the technology modules you need — networked over Profinet, each with pre-written software to learn from. Piece by piece, build anything up to a whole mini-factory.

One brain, endless configurations

Every CoreControl system is built on the CoreControl base panel — a Siemens S7-1200 G2 PLC and WinCC Unified Basic HMI. It's the brain of the system, and the required foundation: the expansion modules do nothing without it.

From there, you choose the technology modules relevant to your industry or training needs. Each one networks back to the base panel over Profinet and ships with a pre-written TIA Portal program as a working starting point — so a customer can plug in CoreSafety to stand up a real functional-safety system, or combine several modules into a complete mini-factory. It's all Siemens, all programmed in TIA Portal, and a basic license is more than adequate.

CoreControl is the heart of every system. It houses a Siemens S7-1200 G2 PLC and a WinCC Unified Basic HMI, and acts as the central controller that every expansion module connects to over Profinet. It's programmed in TIA Portal — a basic license is all you need — and it's the required foundation, as the expansion modules don't function without it.

CoreSafety introduces functional safety in a hands-on way. It provides networked safety I/O so you can design, wire and program real safety functions — the kind used to protect machinery and operators. It arrives with a pre-written TIA Portal safety program you can run, study and adapt as a learning foundation.

CorePneumatic brings pneumatics into the system with a networked manifold whose solenoids can each be individually programmed. It's ideal for learning valve sequencing, actuation and pneumatic control logic, and ships with a pre-written TIA Portal program as a starting point.

CoreIO adds networked, non-safety digital and analogue I/O to your system, expanding the inputs and outputs available as your build grows. It's the simplest way to give a larger multi-module rig the signal capacity it needs, and comes with a pre-written TIA Portal program.

CoreMotion delivers real servo motion control, built on the Siemens S210 drive and supplied with a pre-wired servo/encoder unit. It's a complete, safe way to learn positioning, homing and coordinated motion, and comes with a pre-written TIA Portal program to build from.

CorePower keeps a multi-module system simple to power. It contains a large 24 VDC power supply capable of running up to eight expansion modules from a single 240 VAC feed, so you can grow a rig without a tangle of separate supplies.
